Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing acting in television series such as in Opposite Sex in 2000. Evans gained acclaim for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans also appeared in films based on comics and graphic novels. These include TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition in the role of Steve Rogers as Captain America. The films included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. In addition, he was on The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the world's highest-paid actors.
