Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio, dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first role as the title character in the online video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal family and is the sister to Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens She began working on small roles with her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko alongside her sister. Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's lead roles in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, and Sherrybaby (a dramatic) have earned her nominations to the Golden Globe Award.
